Sharjah Police announced they added 130 modern security vehicles to their field fleet, a move reflecting its firm vision of enhancing security and safety and improving the quality of police services.This upgrade is an extension of Sharjah Police’s approach to developing the police work system by equipping their security sectors with modern and advanced vehicles that meet the requirements of contemporary security work.Strengthening the security fleet is a fundamental pillar in supporting Sharjah Police’s community mission as it contributes to expanding their field presence near members of the society, enhancing their ability to quickly reach the locations of reports and providing more efficient and effective security services, thereby enhancing the sense of security and reassurance.The new vehicles have a comprehensive package of advanced technical and technological specifications that meet the requirements of modern security work.They include smart communication systems, advanced field equipment and the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency.These specifications support police officers during the performance of their duties, improve the quality of performance in all fields of work and enhance the speed of response and accuracy in carrying out security tasks.The modernisation of the security fleet came as part of Sharjah Police’s proactive plans aimed at optimally investing in technological solutions and modern equipment in line with the rapid developments in the security work sector as well as enhancing the efficiency and flexibility of field operations, Major General Dr. Ali Bu Al Zoud, Director General of the General Department of Resources and Support Services, said.Developing the fleet contributes to enhancing security and stability and establishing an active security presence close to members of society in all areas in line with the aspirations of the emirate and embodies its status as a global model in security and community service.
